The pathway to play elite women’s football in Melbourne’s west has received a significant boost with the Western United Football Club and Calder United Soccer Club announcing an exciting new partnership.

The two clubs are set to work together by sharing resources and expertise to grow talent pathways for female participants of all ages to fulfil their sporting ambitions.

The partnership vision includes programs from juniors, through the transitional youth years and on to the high performing Women’s National Premier League (NPLW) in the hope of producing the next crop of young and senior Matildas as well as forming the core of a future Western United W-League team.
