Plan your match day with Western United

BEFORE YOU VISIT

Before you attend a match at GMHBA Stadium it is important to double-check the fixture so that you don't miss a beat!

As a Western United fan, you will receive an email the day before each match, where we share team news, travel info and the off-pitch entertainment that can be found before kick-off.

Tickets

If you are not a member, you can purchase tickets online.

Alternatively, tickets may be purchased at the gate on match day.

Children aged 3 and under can enter the ground at free of charge; however they must not occupy a seat.

The following cards are accepted as Concession: Pensioner Card, Government Issued Seniors Card, Department of Veteran Affairs Gold Card, Full Time Student Card

Bag Policy

All bags are subject to checks before they enter the stadium.

All bags including handbags are to be checked by security before entering the venue and individuals 13 years and over may be scanned.

Smoking Regulations

Please note that smoking, which includes the use of electronic cigarettes, is prohibited within the stadium grounds.

GETTING TO GMHBA STADIUM

GMHBA Stadium is located just off the Princes Highway and can be reached by a number of different transport methods, including train, bus and car.

By Train

The nearest train station is South Geelong Station, which is a 5 minute walk from GMHBA Stadium and runs on the V-Line. Trains run from Southern Cross Station and include stops at Footscray, Sunshine and Tarneit.

Coming off your train, walk west down Lonsdale St until you reach Moorabool St. You will then arrive at the front of Gate 1 of GMHBA Stadium.

By Bus

Bus services 24, 41, 42, 50, 51 and 55 all stop at the front of Gate 1 of GMHBA Stadium on Moorabool St on Saturdays and Sundays.

By Car

Public parking inside the stadium is available for $10 and is located at car parks A4, A5, and C7. Parking opens two hours prior to kick-off.

Car parking can be accessed from:

  • Entrance A: via Kilgour Street
  • Entrance C: via Park Crescent
  • Entrance E: via The City end of Moorabool Street (accessible parking only) All corporate guests parking in A3 will be required to enter via Entrance B – Latrobe Terrace.

Parking around GMHBA Stadium is limited. Please note council restrictions are enforced on surrounding streets.

MERCHANDISE

Merchandise

We have three Club Stores at the stadium on match days:

  • Merchandise Store – Players Stand/Ground Level

  • Merchandise Store – Reg Hickey Stand/ Level 1

  • Merchandise Trailer – Gate 13 Concourse

Don't forget to show your membership card to receive $10 off!

ENTERTAINMENT

Pre-Match

Before kick-off Western fans can find the Wu Wu Hangout at Gate 5, where fans of all ages will have a range of activations to get involved in, including: Face Painting; Western United Target Zone & Dartboard Inflatables; Club Partner Games & Activations; Roaming Acts & Marching Band; and a DJ.

At Gate 5, you will also find one of our three merchandise stores and a range of tasty food and beverage outlets.

Half-time

Unless you're getting something to eat or drink, you won't want to miss the half-time mini-games.

Post-Match

After the final whistle is the perfect opportunity to catch some of your favourite players on the side of the pitch for a signature and selfie.

EATING & DRINKING

A truly authentic football experience is not complete without sampling the tastes and flavours of the West on match day. From the indoor GMHBA food outlets, to the outdoor food and drink trucks – there's something for everyone.

Members and fans can visit the WUFC representatives at the Membership Marquee at Gate 1 or the Membership Window at Gate 13 for any queries they may have.
