Western United tonight announced the winners of the 2020/21 WUFC Awards presented by Tasman Logistics.

The Forever West Award (Fans’ Player of the Season) Presented by Wyndham City was also awarded to Imai.

“I’m super happy that I was able to be awarded two awards,” Imai said.

“I couldn’t do it without all of the Western United fan’s support. I appreciate my teammates, staff and fans from the bottom of my heart. I would also like to thank my family members who were always by my side throughout this tough season. Thank you very much.”

The Young Player of the Season Presented by Victoria University Polytechnic was won by Dylan Pierias for the second year in a row. Pierias had an impressive season, scoring six goals and making an impact for the team.

As a special nod to our loyal Green and Black family, Western United fans and members had the opportunity to vote for the Forever West Award and the Emerald Goal Award.
