Western United has strengthened its commitment to the Ballarat region thanks to the support from the club’s partner 61 Design.
The Club will establish a permanent presence at a soon to be refurbished building space for Western United staff whilst in Ballarat – whether it be for meetings, workspace in the lead-up to Ballarat matches, or media opportunities.
The space will also house a small Merchandise and Membership display.
The commitment comes as preparations begin for the 2021/22 season in which the Club will continue to build the strong relationship with the community, local council and businesses in the region.
Western United played three games at MARS Stadium during the 2020/21 season, beating A-League newcomers Macarthur FC 4-1 in February before returning in March where the Green and Black went down to Western Sydney Wanderers 0-1. The final game for the Club in Ballarat came in May in which Sydney FC winning 0-1.
The future workspace can be found at 59 Humffray Street North, Bakery Hill, next door to our good friends at 61 Design (61 Humffray Street North).
