Western United renews partnership with Werribee Automotive Group

WAG partnership renewal

Western United is delighted to confirm it has renewed its partnership with Werribee Automotive Group for the upcoming season.

The popular western suburbs car dealership joined the club at the beginning of the 2020/21 season and the club is proud to continue to develop this relationship.

This continues the strong work that Werribee Automotive Group has already done in an attempt to grow football in the west of Melbourne.

Werribee Automotive Group is a well-respected car dealership situated right in the heartland of the club’s supporter base. Its two main showrooms in Hoppers Crossing and Caroline Springs house as many as eight different car brands, including Honda, Nissan, Mitsubishi and Jeep.

The dealership has a deep connection to the west and is dedicated to servicing people within the community, and its support of Western United and the A-League is a continuation of their efforts on this front.

Western United’s General Manager of Commercial Partnerships and Sales, Chris Speldewinde, said this is a very important deal for the club and looks forward to the benefits it will continue to provide.

“Werribee Automotive Group were a huge part of the club’s 2020/21 season and we are so happy to continue this partnership,” he said.

“This connection has not only benefitted both of our brands, but it continues to promote the strong community presence we have in the west, which remains a large part of the club’s ethos.

“The partnership will continue to be a massive support to our operations as we head into the new season and I can’t wait to continue working with them.”

The deal sees Werribee Automotive Group provide the club with vehicles for community efforts related to school and club clinics, as well as for transporting matchday equipment to and from the ground.

With the new season set to kick off at the end of October, this will continue to provide a vital benefit to matchday operations for the upcoming campaign.
