Western United’s proud partner Smart Plumbing has been recognised as Melbourne’s best plumber in the Herald Sun’s Best of Melbourne awards.
Established in 2008 by their current Director, Khalil Assaad, Smart Plumbing avoids being “your stereotypical plumber”.
Instead, he and his team strive for second-to-none customer service and progressive ideas.
“We’re a young team, but with a lot of experience”, Assaad told the Herald Sun.
“We’re always evolving with the times and with modern society.
“We’re trying to work with the times and we’re trying to not be your stereotypical plumber.
“We’re trying to keep things a little bit fresh … working with the clients at the design phase and being a bit more responsive and easier to communicate with.”
Assaad, who was born and raised in Melbourne’s west, said it was a proud moment for him and his company.
“I’m actually very proud. It’s a very humbling moment, to be honest.
“To know that clients respect what we do as a company and our vision, it’s a very proud moment to be honest.
“A lot of credit goes out to my team, to the boys. They are the face of the company and I don’t say that lightly.”
