Western United launch dedicated vodcast show

Green Room

Western United’s mantra of ‘we do it our way’ has led to yet another exciting initiative, with the club announcing it is launching its own dedicated vodcast show.

The Green Room @ FNR presented by Lanco Group will debut on Wednesday, 17 March at 7pm with Besart Berisha as the first in-studio guest.

Hosted and produced by the experienced FNR talent – Ed Gooden, Athos Sirianos and Josh Parish – the show will give fans an unprecedented insight into the workings of Western United on and off the park.

The Green Room @ FNR will also showcase what makes the West a football heartland, engaging with the region’s community clubs and hearing from Western United’s passionate fans. The club’s new NPL3 development squad and its ground-breaking partnership with NPLW powerhouse Calder United will feature prominently.

“To have our own media platform to share more of the great stories and news from our young club is exciting,” Western United General Manager Marketing & Media, Chloe Alsop said.

“Partnering with the FNR team was an easy decision as their passion and knowledge of Australian and international football from grassroots to the A-League and beyond is second-to-none and their values of working hard and working as a team reflected ours.

“By creating The Green Room @ FNR, we hope football fans in Melbourne and further afield fall in love with Western United and understand what our brand and our club is all about.”

Football Nation Radio CEO David Bozinoski welcomes Western United and believes the show will provide followers a great opportunity to further witness and be part of one of the A-League’s most exciting clubs.

“Football Nation Radio is delighted to have Western United FC broadcast a weekly show live to a dedicated football audience,” Mr Bozinoski said.

“Over the years, we have developed a football media organisation which is keen to help grow and promote football in Australia and showcase a narrative that discusses, debates and celebrates football like never before.”

Stream The Green Room @ FNR at 7pm each Wednesday night for four weeks, starting on Wednesday, 17 March.
