All junior football and futsal players registered with Geelong clubs in 2019 are invited to take part in a pre-game parade around GMHBA Stadium this Saturday.

Western United will play its first-ever home game in the Hyundai A-League and are giving the opportunity for kids and their clubs to experience a Western United game-day experience by walking around the pitch prior to kick-off.

Kids who wish to participate, as well as their club coach, will receive a free ticket to the historic clash.

Kids are required to wear their club jersey and the clubs are encouraged to bring banners and wave flags of their club in celebration of football in Geelong and the greater region.*

The parade will be broadcast live on the big screens at GMHBA Stadium with commentary from K-Rock presenter Tom King.

Want to participate?

Let your club know, and then arrive at GMHBA Stadium (Gate 5) no later than 3.30PM wearing club gear.

Players are to co-ordinate this with their coach or club who are aware of the parade.

Tickets will be give upon arrival.

The parade will begin at 4.15 PM.

*Please note that FFA allows banners up to 1m x 1m and flag poles must be from plastic or wood and no greater than 1.5 metres in length.
