Watch Western United train live in Launceston

Football fans in Tasmania will get the chance to watch Western United train live, with two open training sessions confirmed for the Macca’s Festival Of Football.

An open training session is scheduled before each of United’s two A-League matches in Launceston.

United will train in front of fans on Friday, 16 April at UTAS Stadium, before taking on the in-form Central Coast Mariners the following day.

On Wednesday, 21 April United will hold another open training session at UTAS Stadium in preparation for their clash with Wellington Phoenix on Thursday.

Come and watch the stars of Western United’s A-League team train – Diamanti, Sánchez, Berisha and co will all be there.

Don’t forget to bring your phone for a selfie and a pen for a signature – the boys will be ready to meet you after they finish their session.

The Macca’s Festival Of Football is headlined by Western United’s A-League matches against Central Coast Mariners and Wellington Phoenix.
