Western United and Simonds Homes will together continue to build the future of the west with the ‘Great Australian Builder’ signing on as principal partner for the next two years.

Simonds Homes will feature on the front of both Western’s home and alternate jerseys throughout the A-League and Victorian NPL competitions until the end of the 2022/2023 season.

Western United GM Commercial Chris Speldewinde said:

“To have the Simonds family come along on our journey is a privilege and we are really looking forward to achieving great things together over the next two years.

“Both companies share such great synergies and a wonderful alignment in building the future for families and communities of Victoria’s west – whether that be in sport or in property.

“The Simonds Homes brand and company has been around for over 70 years, which is a testament to the craftsmanship of the homes they build.

“We are extremely lucky to have the iconic Simonds Homes logo on the front of our jersey and we look forward to our A-League, academy and any women’s programs representing both Western United & Simonds Homes for years to come.”

Rhett Simonds, Executive Chairman & Group CEO echoed the sentiment:

“We are really excited to be continuing our partnership with the rapidly growing team at Western United.

“Since my grandfather built his first home for his mother in 1949, our mission to design and build desirable, quality and affordable homes for families across Australia hasn’t changed.

“We look forward to building the community alongside WUFC for years to come.”

Simonds Homes have supported Western United since season two and the two companies have formed a strong relationship in that time.

Their commitment to Victorian families, especially in Melbourne and Victoria’s west, perfectly aligns with Western United’s mission of representing the people of the west.
