Western United went down 1-0 to Brisbane Roar on Sunday at Mars Stadium, Ballarat.

United looked to jump the Roar into sixth spot with a win.

But it was the Roar who found the breakthrough when Brad Inman picked out Mirza Muratovic who tapped home past Filip Kurto.

Robbie Fowler’s men held on for the three points in Ballarat and cemented their spot in the top six.
