Report: Central Coast Mariners 1-0 Western United

Thumbnail

Western United travelled to New South Wales for the first time to take on the Central Coast Mariners.

United had the majority of the chances in the first half as they looked to bounce back from their 1-0 defeat to Newcastle last week.

The Mariners opened the scoring early in the second half however when Giancarlo Gallifuoco’s shot deflected, giving Filip Kurto little chance.

The Green and Black continued to press but weren’t able to find an equaliser.
