Matchday Guide: Western United’s first home game at AAMI Park

Western United is set to host an A-League match at AAMI Park for the first time this Saturday, 30 January, taking on their rival in navy blue.

Here’s everything you need to know to ensure your day runs smoothly.

Gates Open

Gates will open at 3:50pm AEDT.

Kick-off:

The match will kick-off at 5:05pm AEDT.

Tickets

Tickets for this match must be pre-purchased.

Ticket Windows at Entrance E & F on the front forecourt (Olympic Boulevard side) will be available for customer service information only. Open from 3:00pm.

Ticket holders must arrive during their allocated time and enter via the entry gate shown on their tickets.

All tickets are reserved row, flexible seats. Groups are to leave a two-seat gap between parties. Be mindful that other fans may be sitting in front of you.

Tickets for the match are still available at Ticketek.

Member redemption

Please note that your membership card does not give access to the venue, and members must redeem their tickets for every match.

COVID-safe info

Masks are required on concourses and in queues, all indoor areas and outside where physical distancing is not possible.

Guests will need to check-in upon arrival using any of the internal or external QR codes displayed around the venue. (Android users must download the Service Victoria app)

The venue is separated into zones. Your zone, allocated entry time, and designated gate to enter the venue is listed on your ticket. You must enter via your designated gate only.

All tickets are reserved row, flexible seats. Groups are to leave a two-seat gap between parties. Be mindful that other guests may be sitting in front of and behind you. Guests must only sit in the aisle and row allocated to them.

AAMI Park

Parking

The Eastern Plaza Car Park (opposite AAMI Park) is closed from Monday, January 11 – Wednesday, February 24.

Parking will not be available at Yarra Park due to the rain. Guests are advised to use public transport or find alternate parking in the city.

Public Transport

AAMI Park is accessible by tram, train and bus. The stadium is within walking distance of Richmond Station and Flinders Street Station.

Bag Restrictions

Following a review of previous events, AAMI Park’s Conditions of Entry have been updated to allow for backpacks to be brought into the stadium.

Any item or bag that is too large to fit under a seat must not be brought into the stadium and a limit of one bag per person applies.

Pass Outs

Pass Outs are no longer available at AAMI Park. You will not be permitted re-entry if you leave the venue before the end of the match.

AAMI Park is now a smoke-free venue. Smoking is not permitted inside the venue, on the external concourses or on the Olympic Boulevard forecourt, including during half-time.

Merchandise

Get the latest Western United gear at the merchandise vendors inside the venue from Gates Open, or at the merchandise outlet on the front forecourt (Olympic Boulevard side) from 3:00pm to 5:00pm.
