As the new 2020/21 A-League season kicks off under a new Covid normal environment, pre-purchasing tickets is the best way to enjoy a seat on match day.

Western United fans can now pre-purchase tickets to the first four home games in Geelong.

With discounted pricing on offer for all pre-purchased tickets, supporting the green and black on match day couldn’t be any better.

With our first match against Adelaide United at GMHBA Stadium in Geelong only 10 days away, now is a great time to secure your ticket and rise up with us this season.

Pre-purchased tickets for single matches start at $25 for adults, $18 for concession, $10 for children and only $50 for a family of four (two adults/two children).

We encourage all fans to pre-purchase tickets to allow for less contact and safe distancing with the current government guidelines in place.

However, if you don’t have access to a computer or a mobile phone, tickets will still be available to purchase on game day. Walk up ticket prices start at $30 for adults, $23 for concession, $15 for children and $60 for a family of four (two adults/two children).

Western United members receive a 10% discount on the above ticket prices including for any friends or family they wish to purchase tickets for.

Ticketek staff will be available to assist on match days during this learning period at the stadium.

What time do gates open?

Gate opening times for this event are staggered to reduce congestion. Please arrive in your designated time (5:30pm, 6:00pm or 6:30pm) identified on your ticket.

What time is kick off?

7:00pm

Can I move through the stadium?

Due to COVID-19 four (4) zones have been established for this event. All customers will be allocated a zone number on their ticket and are to remain within their dedicated zone.

  • Zone 1 – Reg Hickey Stand
  • Zone 2 – Players Stand
  • Zone 3 – Brownlow and Premiership Stand
  • Zone 4 – Ford Stand and Gary Ablett Terraces

(i.e. Zone 1 customers must on enter, spectate, and use stadium facilities within the Reg Hickey Stand).

What gate(s) are opened?

  • Gate 13 – Bob Davis
  • Gate 5 – Bernie Smith and
  • Gate 1 – Polly Farmer

Can I bring a bag?

We encourage either no bags or clear bags for this event, however bags will be permitted and are subject to a security bag search.

Can I bring a water bottle?

Yes, you can bring up to a 1.25L bottle.

Is there somewhere to refill my water bottle?

Water refill stations have been decommissioned for this event. Free water is available from the food outlet.

Will there be food and beverages for purchase?

Yes, throughout the stadium food and beverage outlets will be opened

Can I pay with cash and/or card?

There will be no cash transactions at the stadium, card only.

How do we keep safe in closed areas i.e toilet blocks?

Please follow the density quota displayed outside the room

Do I have to socially distance in my seat?

Seating restrictions apply for this event. Tickets purchased together don’t need to socially distance, but groups must keep two seats apart from the next group.

Can I leave my seat?

There are three reasons to leave your seat:

  1. To collect food and beverages
  2. Going to the toilet or seek assistance
  3. To exit the stadium (must use the same point as entry)

Can I purchase alcohol at the stadium?

Yes, a variety of beverages will be available with mid-strength beer available only.

Do I have to wear a mask?

We encourage to bring and wear your mask where you cannot physically distance i.e. at gate entry, going to the toilet, food and beverage outlets etc.

Masks are recommended, however, not compulsory.

Do I have to socially distance myself?

Yes, please stay 1.5m apart from the next person.

What do I do if I become unwell?

Please notify a staff member immediately who will call for assistance from our first aid providers, who will attend your location.
